October School Update

Happy Halloween!

This year Tailor and Millie were Snow White and Dorothy for Halloween. Here they are at The O'Neals Ward Trunk or Treat.

Save a Sister 5K

My office sponsored a 5/10k run for Breast Cancer and our office ran for my sister Shayla who is going through breast cancer right now. We all had so much fun! I look more large and in charge than 5 months pregnant, but whatever- my Dad and I have matching bellies!!

Ballerina Girl

Tailors Ballet Class had parent observations day. Here are some sweet moves she did!

American Girl

Last Feb. (right after Christmas of course) Tailor decided she wanted a Bitty Baby- so we bought a jar and told her she had to earn it. In October we counted her money and she had finally earned $53! So we went for fall break to American Girl in California with Grandma and Aunt Mikie- and she "adopted" her baby. It actually was pretty fun and this baby goes with us everywhere! I'm not kiddin you! Even when Tailor has to go somewhere without "Bitty" she hires a sitter, which has been anyone from Dave to Papa to take care of her while Tailor is gone. We have even gone shopping for clothes for bitty at the "baby store" aka Deseret Industries so she has a functional wardrobe with dresses and pant outfits. (Thanks to Aunt Kika for that idea!)

September School Update

On an Island in the SUN

We celebrated the end of Shayla's Chemotherapy by going to Hawaii for four days before she started Radiation. It was nice to lay on a lounge chair and do nothing, and it was Shayla's first time so we had to make sure she saw the Hawaii Temple.

First Day of School!

It's been awhile again-

So if you keep track with us on blog- I'm sorry it's been so long! But now you have a good half hour of enjoyment as you scroll back 4 months worth of photos-Thanks!!

I haven't had nice photos taken of these girls since last October! It's so true when they say, the more you have the less documented they are! Poor Millie I guess... so here are these grown up girls! It goes so fast it makes me sad...

Tailor had her first major bodily injury today...which actually isn't bad considering she's 4 years old already, and kind of a dare devil....She had an encounter with a wobbily bookshelf and lost... but we got lucky and it wasn't broken-as she was laying there with her icepack on her face though, I thought if you take pictures of the good times, why not make some memories of the battle wounds too. You're a good sport little buddy!!

ROUND TWO! *DING DING*

This year I surprised my mom and took her on an overnight girls trip to Las Vegas! I didn't even tell her where we were staying! She was very happy to see where we ended up though... The Red Rock Hotel, which is the best resort to stay at if you want to go to Vegas with kids! The pools were awesome (all 6) and the theaters and bowling alley even better! We had dinner at Claim Jumper and then went home on my Mom's actual birthday to have family dinner with the boys!
